Aladdin’s Cave Newsletter Competition – Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
This competition is promoted by Aladdin’s Cave, Les Canus Road, Les Capelles, Guernsey, GY2 4UJ.
2. Eligibility
The competition is open to residents of Guernsey aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. Employees of Aladdin’s Cave and their immediate families, as well as anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition, are not eligible to enter.
3. Entry requirements
Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. To enter, participants must sign up to the Aladdin’s Cave newsletter during the competition period.
4. Competition period
The competition opens on 1 April and closes at 23:59 on 30 April. Entries received outside this period will not be considered.
5. Winner selection
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries on 1 May.
6. Winner notification and prize claim
The winner will be notified via the email address provided at entry on 1 May. The winner must claim their prize within one month of notification. If the prize is not claimed within this timeframe, Aladdin’s Cave reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
7. Prize
Details of the prize will be as described in the competition promotional materials. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered unless otherwise stated.
8. Publicity
By entering the competition, the winner agrees to the use of their name for promotional and announcement purposes on Facebook and other relevant marketing channels.
9. Data protection
Any personal data provided will be used solely for the administration of this competition and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. By entering, participants agree to receive communications from Aladdin’s Cave, with the option to unsubscribe at any time.
10. Platform disclaimer
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. By entering, participants acknowledge that they are providing their information to Aladdin’s Cave and not to Facebook.
11. General
Aladdin’s Cave reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its control. Aladdin’s Cave decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
